John Peick graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. Political Science in 1972 and in 1975 graduated from the University of Washington Law School. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association (1975), U.S. District Court, Western District, Washington (1975), U.S. Tax Court (1976) and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (1998).
He is a member of the American Bar Association, American Health Lawyers Association, Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (1984-Present), American Trial Lawyers Association, and National Association of Chiropractic Attorneys. He has served for many years on the Board of Governors for the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association. He has been Legal Counsel to the Washington State Chiropractic Association since 1991 and has worked on joint projects with other healthcare practitioner groups. He has taught law courses, written numerous articles and frequently lectures on various healthcare practitioner subjects and other legal topics.
His practice emphasizes health care, small business, personal injury and wrongful death claims. He is a seasoned litigator and defender of health care practitioner licenses.

John Conniff graduated from Seattle University in 1978 with a B.A. in political science and with a law degree from Seattle University Law School in 1986. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association (1987), and the American Bar Association.
From 1986 until 1993, he served as attorney to the Washington State House of Representatives advising on Insurance, Banking, and Health Care. In 1993, he was appointed Deputy Insurance Commissioner for Health Care. During his seven years with the Office of Insurance Commissioner, he has worked extensively on managed health care issues, regulatory compliance, and policy. From 1994 - 1998, he served as chairman of various committees for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners developing new model laws on managed care, health care reform and privacy. He has served on national task forces developing policy for managed health care and health insurance reform. He has written extensively on privacy, insurance and managed health care issues.
Mr. Conniff represents insurers, health care practitioners, business associations and health plans advising on business, health care, and insurance regulatory compliance.

Janice Salim has worked with John Peick for more than 20 years. She has been a paralegal in several different legal fields. She is a graduate of Washington State University and obtained her paralegal degree from the National Academy for Paralegal Studies through Seattle University. She currently focuses her skills on managing the day to day handling of personal injury cases for the Firm.

Ida Zodrow

Ida Tsujikawa Zodrow graduated from the University of California, Berkeley receiving a B.A. in 1968 and a Masters of Social Welfare in 1970. Ms. Zodrow has extensive experience in health care policy and management and insurance regulation.
She has served as Deputy Insurance Commissioner for Health Policy for Washington Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler from 2005 to 2006 and as Deputy Insurance Commissioner for Rates and Contracts for Insurance Commissioner Deborah Senn from 1996 to 1997. She also served in various administrative positions with the Washington Health Care Authority from 1997 to 2003 including appointment as head of the agency from 2001 to 2003. The agency purchases health care and other benefits for public employees and retirees and administers the Washington Basic Health Plan for low income Washington residents and the Uniform Medical Plan, Washington State's self-insured health benefit plan.
Ms. Zodrow served as the Chief Deputy Insurance Commissioner for Operations in the California Department of Insurance from 2003 to 2005. Ms. Zodrow also held executive positions with California government agencies including an appointment as Deputy Commissioner with Insurance Commissioner Garamendi from 1991 to 1995. Ms. Zodrow currently serves as the Independent Review Director engaged in disability insurance claims review as part of a national regulatory case settlement with California and various national insurers.
She has frequently spoken before state and national organizations on health care policy, workers' compensation, and insurance regulation.
